Checking calculations of roller fairleads

Project description

MH Poly did a calculation to check the various roller fairleads. These roller fairleads are boxes with guide wheels for anchors and/or cables and are calculated on the actually acting stresses and transformations. From this it was concluded that the frames were strong enough or had to be adjusted (short video included).

Project activities

- Calculations in order to check the actually acting stresses and transformations. This is done with Finite Element Method (FEM) based on the elasticity theory;
- Equation of the Misses-stresses;
- Evaluation of the frames.
