Slackening structure and mooring post for the second Julianasluis at Gouda
Project description
MH Poly was responsible for the design of the slackening structure and mooring post of the new to build second Julianasluis. The extra sluice is needed in order to keep up with the increasing professional and recreational navigation. A second sluice has the preference, compared to the widening of the sluice, as the monumental Julianasluis must be preserved and less congestion is expected. A positive side effect is the increasing of safety as professional and recreational navigation is separated in the future.
